The study was design to assess the prevalence of malaria among pregnant women attending Antenatal Clinic at Umaru Shehu General Hospital in Bulumkutu area in Maiduguri, Borno State. Literatures were reviewed in areas relating to malaria infection and its prevalence among pregnant women. A population sample of 299 was randomly selected for this study, to which questionnaires were administered to. Simple percentage was used to analyzed the results and findings reveal a high prevalence of malaria infection, 230 (76.9%) among pregnant women attending antenatal clinic in USGH Maiduguri. Recommendations were made such as the Regular use of chemoprophylaxis, treated mosquito nets and regular health talks given to the women.
